Fun Facts!

African Grey Parrots (Psittacus erithacus) are the largest parrot in Africa. They have an amazing ability to mimic speech and other noises. Their tail is a dramatic crimson colour.

These parrots are the most popular pet in Europe, the US, and the Middle East due to its incredible ability to mimic the human voice as well as its long lifespan.

It is thought that up to 21% of the global population of African Grey is taken from the wild every year to serve this high demand.

If threatened they can fluff up to look larger and bite...we can confirm that this really hurts!!
