Rabbits are very social creatures that live in groups. In the wild they live in warrens, a series of tunnels and rooms that they dig underground.
A rabbits teeth never stop growing. Their eyes are on the sides of their head, meaning they can see almost all the way around them.
A rabbits ears aren't just for listening. They also help regulate the rabbits body temperature and the blood vessels in it's ears swell when it's hot and contract when it's cold.
When a rabbit is happy they jump and twist. This is called a 'binky'. They groom themselves like a cat, licking their fur and paws.
For assisting in digestion they need hay available at all times as this helps to prevent fur balls forming in the stomach.
European rabbits have been domesticated since the Middle Ages.
