As a small family run business, it is our priority to use the resources we have to give back to the community. Supporting local and supporting small are an important part of our ethos. We try our best to use small local businesses for all of our outsourcing needs.
Some examples being the food we serve in our café; we get all of our fruit and veg from Cramlington Veg Box, all of our bread is baked and delivered daily from Trotters family bakers, our cakes and traybakes are made weekly by Bakes by Aims in Morpeth and our meat is bought from Northumberland Family Butchers.
For all our sites carpentry needs we use Ian at Twist and Turn, Phillip at PJ Mccourt does all of our upholstery work, Bart Endean worked with us on a new play structure we designed and built.
For all things characters and princesses, we use Emma Enchanted.
We purchase all of our plants for the site from Stakeford Nurseries - Blyth Star Enterprises. Blyth Star Enterprises was established by a group of parents, carers and professionals who came together with the aim of improving the lives of people in the region with learning disabilities and/or enduring mental health issues, through a unique combination of social care services – Support, Training, Accommodation and Rehabilitation. The staff come up multiple times a year and plant different things all over the farm.
