Following request from our customers we are very excited to launch our Autism Hour here at Whitehouse Farm Centre

 

Autism Hour is a quieter hour which provides an atmosphere in which to explore the farm, sensitive to the needs of visitors with autistic spectrum or other communication and sensory conditions. The sessions takes place the first weekend of the month from 9 – 10am. Siblings, families, carers and friends are welcome.

 

Places must be pre-booked!

 

We have worked closely with fantastic local Charity Autism Northumberland to help make a visit to the farm more accessible for our visitors. We have designed a Social Story and are in the process of implementing PECS cards around the farm too.
