As everyone starts to slowly get adjusted to the new norm, and we have re-opened our doors, we thought it would be a good time to put together this handy Frequently Asked Questions list to help you plan for your visit to the farm.

Do we need to Pre Book to visit the farm?
YES its essential you pre book your tickets and choose a time slot to arrive, tickets are onsale until 8:45am on the day of your visit, however we do recommend booking up a few days in advance and we do sell out very quickly.

How long can we stay on the farm?
You are welcome to say on the farm until we close at 5pm, the arrival timeslots are to control the entrance and keep everyone safe.  The numbers on site are reduced and keep us well below the recommended capacity for a venue of this size.

Do we need to wear masks?
We are following all Government guidelines and rules regarding wearing masks, from 24th July it is essential for people aged 11+ to wear a mask when visiting our gift shop, ice cream parlour and the cafe.  The is a new law brought in by government and applies to all shops, takeaways etc if you require any further information please check gov.uk for guidance.  From 8th August it will be essential to wear a mask in all indoor areas, including our Petting Barn, this is based on new Government Law.

Is your cafe open?
Yes the cafe is open for takeaway food, we have lots of outdoor seating, as well as indoor seating in the picnic barn and the events barn too.  We are serving a reduced menu, however there is still a good selection of sandwiches, jacket potatoes, childrens cold and hot options and a daily special each day.  You are also welcome to bring your picnic along.

Are your play areas open?
We are delighted to confirm all our outdoor play areas are open, we have lots of sanitising stations set up so you can not only clean your hands but keep play equipment clean too.  Our staff will also be cleaning regularly throughout the day so you can play with confidence.  Our soft play area and the small play area in the picnic barn remain closed for the time being, until the government give permission for this to open.

Can we handle and feed the animals?
Our larger animals are on our outdoor walkway near Hoglets Play Area, you can purchase animal food for 65p per bag and you are more than welcome to feed them.  Our Petting Barn is running a one way system, you queue round the back (follow the red pig trotters to join the queue).  You will be taken into the petting barn in your family group where we have various handling stations set out.  Staff will be wearing masks and visors, and will sanitise chairs etc after each family.  At this time there is no law stating you have to wear masks in this area however it is recommended by the government to wear a mask in indoor areas - at this time this is completely upto you what you decide to do.

Do you accept cash?
We are happy to accept card and cash payments around the site, the ice cream parlour and snack shack are cash only.  Please also remember the racing cars and Jurassic jeeps are cash only too!!!!
