Coronavirus Advise

13 Mar 2020

The Health and Safety of our Staff and Visitors is of paramount importance to us all and we want to share ongoing advice related to Covid-19 (coronavirus) to ensure that everyone has a safe and enjoyable visit to Whitehouse Farm.

We are continually revising policies in line with our standard existing NFAN (National Farm Park & Attraction) guidelines along with the latest Public Health England (PHE) advice, which includes increased cleanliness and hygiene procedures around the farm park.

Guidance on prevention measures, which includes ensuring you are washing hands regularly, and covering your mouth/nose with tissues when coughing or sneezing can be found here: https://www.nhs.uk/

As a family attraction we already actively encourage regular hand washing which is the key deterrent for contracting the Coronavirus.
We are open as normal and encourage all visitors to follow the personal hygiene government advice to protect yourself and others:
• Always carry tissues with you
• Use tissues to catch your cough or sneeze
• Bin the tissue, and to kill the germs, wash your hands with soap and water
This is the best way to slow the spread of almost any germs, including Coronavirus.

Within our Farm Park, we have issued employee guidelines and increased the frequency of washing both hands and objects that get frequent hand contact, however, we shall continue to monitor the advice from Public Health England and our local health authority.

We are asking our visitors not to visit if they are feeling unwell, if you have a fever or a continuous cough, please follow the official advise and self isolate for 7 days.

We do hope this will put your minds at rest, and we hope you enjoy your visit to Whitehouse Farm Centre.
