Fun Facts!

Leopard Geckos (Eublepharis macularius), unlike most geckos, have eyelids, allowing them to blink and sleep with their eyes closed.

They have small calws instead of toe pads, like other species of gecko.

They will often shake their tails when hunting, mating and defending their territory.

Leopard Geckos are nocturnal creatures spending most of the day hidden under rocks or in dry burrows to escape the daytime heat, emerging at dusk to hunt insects.
