Fun Facts!

The Curly Hair Tarantula Brachyplema albopilosum is named for its distinctive long and curly bristles that cover its body. Although they are covered in dark brown to black hairs, if you look closely you'll also see a bronze sheen to them too. This is due to a covering of longer golden hairs that cover their entire body.

They like to burrow. They can also regenerate lost legs.

They do not spins webs but do still use silk.

They are quite docile and rarely bite.
