Fun Facts!

The Tamworth Pig Sus scrofa domesticus is a rare breed of Pig origination in Staffordshire via interbreeding between local pigs and Irish pigs. It is one one Britain's oldest pig breeds, but is listed by the Rare Breeds Survival Trust as Vulnerable, as there is estimated to be only 300 registered breeding females. They have very dense bristle to protect themselves from the sun, as they are generally suited to colder climates.
